Disneyland

Nothing is better than a day at Disneyland with your niece and nephew.  It was so nice to have a break since I had just worked 14 days straight, so what's better than Disneyland on your first day off?  I loved going to Disneyland with Aubrey before, but now that she enjoys everything more, it makes me enjoy it that much more with her!

Huntington Beach Stake Roadshow

My sister was in our Stake Roadshow.  They didn't do Roadshows while I was growing up so I was very interested to see how these things worked.  I have to say out of all of the performaces that I saw that night, my parent's Ward had the best one of the night!!  Mady rocked with her solo and dancing!!  Who knew I had such a talented sister?! :)

My company just moved across the street and Christa and I were in charge of getting our department moved smoothly.  I do have to say that I'm pretty sure that our department had the smoothest move of everyone and we are the biggest department.  After working 60 hour work weeks to get everything done, I was ready for a weekend of sleeping, but when the VP came and offered me and Christa Lakers tickets as a thank you, I was more than willing to give up my sleep! 
Not only did we get Suite tickets, but we got to leave work 2.5 hours early to walk around LA and to also get dinner on the company.  I felt so spoiled that night, but I loved every second of it!

Happy St. Patrick's Day

I love getting dressed up for holidays like 4th of July, Easter, St. Patricks day, etc.  For St. Patrick's day I joined a few friends for some fun holiday festivities.  We had a fun night and then got home early since we all had to work the next day.  Thanks for the invite Steph!  I had a lot of fun!

Vegas Baby

One of the things I am responsible for at work is a quarterly meeting that is held in CA, NV and AZ.  This week was our meeting in Vegas, which I was pretty excited about. We had one long work day and one more laid back traveling day.
 While I was in Vegas I was able to meet up with Jonny, who is one of my good friends from Utah.  Jonny is from Vegas and moved back after graduating law school to work at a firm that he had been interning at.  It was a ton of fun seeing him!
Another highlight of the trip was getting to know my boss and one of our supervisors better.  We had some hilarious conversations as well as some great religion conversations.  Overall it was a great trip!!

I Love To See The Temple

I love to see the temple.
I’m going there someday
To feel the Holy Spirit,
To listen and to pray.
For the temple is a house of God,
A place of love and beauty.

As a child of God, I’ve learned this truth:

I grew up singing this song at church from the age of 18 months all the way until I was 11.  I always knew that one day I would be going to the temple, but I always thought I would be going because I was getting married.  It's amazing how life never goes the way that you planned!  :)
I've been thinking about going through the Temple for about a year now, but with how busy I've been it just hasn't happened.  I got a call a few months ago telling me that my brother and sister in law will be going through the temple on May 13th and they will be sealed for Time and All Eternity to each other and their beautiful daughter on May 14th.  When I found out that out, I made an appointment with my Bishop and talked to him about going through the temple.  That night I had a date to go through the temple, which will also be May 13th!  I'm so excited to be making this big change in my life and I'm even more excited that I will be able to do it with my brother!
