Happy 1st Birthday Aubrey

I can't believe that my niece is already 1. I feel like I was just in the hospital yesterday with Kelly and Andrew. So crazy how time flies!!! I just adore this little girl and her hilarious personality!! I'm so glad I could be her Aunt!!

Peyton Reed

I have never taken baby pictures before and I was SO nervous to take Peyton's pictures. The pictures didn't turn out as well as I would have liked them to, but here are a few of my favorites. I guess I can't complain too much though since it was my first time

Two Favorites

I know there is more to Christmas than the gifts, but I just have to show off two of my favs this Christmas!!

A new BCD to go scuba diving with. I was VERY surprised to get this!

My new camera! I've been wanting a camera like this for YEARS, but never had the money for it. I now have a camera that I've already had a ton of fun with!! Now its time to start taking pictures even more to get all the practice I can get.

A few reasons why I love being home

There is nothing like pedicures in California!!
I love the California Weather! Right before our run on the beach
This little girl always puts a smile on my face!!! I love watching these two interact. Justin for sure is her favorite!
I love spending time with amazing friends!!
I love watching the love my grandparents have for each other

Of course there are MANY more reasons why I love being home, but these are just a few I have pictures of :)

Quotes of the day

Quote 1: My Grandma Cash was going to open her present from my Grandpa. Someone joked around about making sure it was appropriate before opening the present and Grandma said "Its not vibrating, so I think we're ok" Talk about HILARIOUS!!! We were all shocked, but loved the comment. The whole family broke out laughing hysterically. I wish I would have gotten a picture of Justin with his jaw dropped and him covering his mouth, but I just barely missed it. I did catch the boys still laughing though.
Quote 2: I got a lot of new workout clothes, which were much needed and I was very grateful for this year. Grandpa Ward saw my new sports bra and asked what it was. I told him it was my sports bra and he had a confused look on his face. He then says "That's going to fit? It looks Aubrey size" He then proceeds to try and stretch it out to see if it would fit his chest. I think for this quote you had to be here because its not something I'd expect to hear out of his mouth. The way he was saying it you could tell he was saying my chest is too big for the sports bra.

Quote 3: Katelyn, my little cousin, got a "kitty" for Christmas. When she says anything with a K it comes out as a T. It didn't really click what she was saying until I repeated it and then a few of us got a big kick out of it watching my face repeat Katelyn. I told my dad to ask Katelyn what she got for Christmas and she said "A titty" My dad asked her if she got a big or little titty and Katelyn replied "a big titty" That also ended up in lots of laughs!!

I love being home so much!! There are tons of laughs and never a dull moment in this family!

The Worst Table

Tonight me, Kallie, Kyle and Daryl had the opportunity to take presents to a family in need this year. I absolutely love doing things like this and what a way to finish off my last night in Provo before going home for a week. After dropping off the gifts we went out to dinner at a restaurant that is not one of my favorites, but I wasn't going to object since everyone else seemed excited about it. We walk into Wingers and the first thing I see is a chalk board with all of the specials for the day on it. On the board I see "Sit at our worst table and get a surprise" So naturally, we've got to ask about this because there is a surprise at the end. I LOVE surprises!! :) The girl doesn't give us much information about this table other than its between 2 families with lots of kids. So we ask what the surprise at the end is and she said 50% off the bill. DONE and DONE!! Me and Kyle were not hesitant at all to say OK!! :) Little did we know this table was covered with wrapping paper with Santa Claus all over it, there is a huge present in the middle of the table so there is barley any enough room for anything, there is tinsel connecting each chair, and huge silver plates with plastic wine glasses. When the waitress came she took basically everything off the table so there was actually room to eat, but then we found out we had to wear necklaces with bells at the end of them. I totally got a kick out of all this and it was TOTALLY worth getting 50% off the meal!! I wish I would have gotten a picture of just the table because none of these pictures do it justice!

Crazy Weekend!

I'm so glad this past weekend is over!! I was in charge of my company's Holiday Party this year and I can't believe I actually pulled it off! :) In the past years I've helped with the party and there have been at least 2 or 3 people putting it together, but this year it was just me. The day of the party, I thought things had gone too easy and everything went too smoothly. I thought for sure I was forgetting something big. How could planning a company Holiday party be that easy? Believe it or not, I only forgot one thing. I forgot to get a prize for the poker winner, and we weren't sure if we were actually going to do a winner or not. SO...I guess you could say I didn't forget anything :)
The company party was on Friday night and Saturday night I had to get all the food for around 50 people to feed on Sunday night. The food consists of a "main dish" (like nachos, hot wings, orange chicken, quesadillas, etc) fruits and veggies and then some sort of dessert. Last time I did this, I had other people helping out, but this time it was me doing all the food except for a veggie tray. One of the girls on my committee helped with that and I'm so grateful for her!! Sunday I wasn't feeling too well, but I stuck it out and made orange chicken, bbq wings, brownies and peanut butter bon bons for everyone. I was in my kitchen for hours! Now that all of this is all over, I'm sick and haven't been at work for 2 days. I'm going back tomorrow, feeling a little better and can't wait to be 100% again!!

Birthday Dinner

Thank you so much to Kallie for organizing my birthday dinner!! My birthday ended up being so much more than I imagined it would be. I don't know why, but I was kind of dreading this birthday. I wasn't sure how the day would go since I wasn't looking forward to it, but I was very surprised at how much fun I had that day. Work flew by, the day was fun, and the night was even better! Here are a few pictures of dinner and my birthday pizookie. Thank you Holly and Kallie for such a great night!

Happy Birthday To Me!!!

I have the most amazing family and friends anyone could ask for!! I came back from lunch today and found flowers from my parents and a cake, candy and balloons on my desk from my friends Chelsea and Diana. Not too long after I got a HILARIOUS PowerPoint from my friends Missy, Ashlee and Claire. I've saved the PowerPoint to jpeg form so that I can share. :)

WARNING: NOT FOR YOUNG OR DELICATE EYES!!! (JUST THOUGHT I'D THROW THAT IN BEFORE YOU GUYS SEE THE NEXT SLIDE LOL)

Let's Say Thanks

If you go to this web site, www.LetsSayThanks.com you can pick out a thank you card and Xerox will print it out and send it to a soldier that is currently serving in Iraq. You can't pick out who gets it, but it will go to a member of the armed services. It is FREE and it only takes a second. Wouldn't it be wonderful if the soldiers received a bunch of these? This takes just 10 seconds and it's a wonderful way to say thank you. Please take the time to send a card, and please take the time to pass it on for others to do. We can never say enough thank yous. Thanks for taking to time to support our military!

Flash Game

Last night was Kallie's company Christmas Party and she took me as her date :) For their party they went to the opening Flash Game. The Flash is a d-league basketball team that plays in Orem. It was fun to go and it was even better to watch our friend who is an assistant coach on the team. Also, Mark Madsen (who used to play for the Lakers and I'm a big fan) is an assistant coach and Kallie and I loved watching him when he got excited and his interaction with the team
Enjoying the game from the suite. Ya, we're a big deal ;)
