28th Birthday

Thank you to all who called, emailed, and text messaged me on my birthday!!  I truly felt loved!!  Also, thank you to my mom and Justin for coming out and taking me out to lunch and to the Natale's for taking me out to dinner!!

Family Pictures

I was so excited to get back all of our pictures from Sarah this week!!  We got a CD of all of the 400 pictures that she took and I love looking through all of them even though there are so many.  I think I've already looked through the whole CD 3 times :)  I could look at pictures all day and never get bored!!  Here are some of my favorites.  There are actually a lot, so I'll try to just post a few.

Another Teaser

Sarah posted another teaser for us and yet again, I love it!!  Grandma and Grandpa were cold so they snuggled up in Brandon's blanket.  They had no idea this picture was being taken.  I love how cute they are!!

Last week Sarah Hull took our family pictures on Seal Beach Main Street. We did the whole family, our family with both sets of grandparents, individuals, and individual families.  She gave us a little sneak peak of one of the 4 Generation pictures and I love it!! I can't wait to see the rest of the pictures!!

Laker Game

I'm sure most of you know that I love the Lakers!!  I haven't been to a game in almost 10 years, so when Sara asked me if I wanted to go with her there was NO way I was saying no!  :)  We didn't have the best seats in the house, but that didn't matter at all!  We all had a great time!!  There's nothing better than actually being at a sporting event!!  It makes the game that much better! Thanks Sara for the invite!!  It was AWESOME!!!

Home Sweet Home

My place is finally starting to come together.  There is still some work to do, but at least I've got most of the boxes unpacked!  Now its time to get the rest unpacked and the pictures hung.  Once that happens I'll officially be settled in.

Thanksgiving

I loved having everyone here for Thanksgiving.  There's nothing better than a fun weekend with the family!!  I'm also so glad that Grandma and Grandpa Cash were able to come join us this year!  I love it when they are able to come out and spend time with us!!

Turkey Trot

Every year my family starts out Thanksgiving morning with either a 5k or 10k Turkey Trot.  We usually do the Dana Point Turkey Trot, but Huntington Beach had a Turkey Trot this year for the first time, so we thought we'd do that one.  Dad placed first overall in the 10k, Anna ran her first 5k, I had a PR, this was Mom's first 5k in years, Justin and Mady did the 5k in 24 minutes, and Kate was able to run the whole thing even though she hasn't been running lately.  I was so proud of everyone! Way to go team :)  Thanksgiving started right!  :)

Family

I love having all of the family together!!  We've had tons of laughs and lots of fun together.  There's nothing better than having the whole family together!  I'm so thankful we could all be together for Thanksgiving because this will be the first year EVER that we all wont be together at Christmas.

Work Update

I keep getting in trouble since I haven't updated my blog in a few days. :) Since starting work I really haven't had much of a life.  I go to work, come home and go on a run, and then go to bed.  That pretty much sums up my life right now! Pretty boring, I know!
Tomorrow will be my 1 week mark at my job and I'm really enjoying it now that I'm starting to get a little more comfortable.  After the first day at my job I came home a little overwhelmed!  I was in meetings for half of the day and training for the rest of the day.  I was told more than once that I was the third person in this position, it's a ton of work, and it's a non stop position.  Well they weren't kidding about it being non-stop!!  I honestly don't stop from the second that I get into work until the second I leave. It is a lot of work, but I love being busy!!  I got an e-mail from the girl who used to be in my position and she told me I'm a great fit for the position and she thinks I'm going to do a great job. Her e-mailed made my day, made me feel good about the work that I've been doing, and also made me feel a little more comfortable in the position.  I'm really glad that I took this job and moved back to California!  It has been one of the best decisions I've ever made!!  I'm so happy to be home!

California!

I have made it safely to California.  So far I've loved every second of being here!  I've gone for a ride on the beach, hung out with my family, gone to Olvera Street to get their amazing taquitos, gotten a mani/pedi, slept in until at least 9 every day (which is pretty amazing for me),  have gotten to meet my cute little nephew, and have seen my cute new place. Work starts for me on Wednesday and as much as I am excited, I'm going to miss the life I have right now :)  I almost feel like I'm here for a visit and I'll be leaving soon to go back to Utah. More updates on moving into my new place and the new job coming soon... :)
