School?!?

I don't know what I'm thinking, but going back to school next semester has been on my mind a lot lately!! I have very little school under my belt and my excuse for never going back was "I want to be a stay at home mom, so why does it matter?" If you know me, you know how much I absolutely HATE school!! I don't do well on tests and if you ever want to see me be an introvert, go to school with me. I hate being called on so I sit in the back of the class and hope to go un-noticed!
My major from the start has been Special Education and I've taken some photography classes on the side, because I really enjoy photography. As I've been thinking about school lately the question keeps coming popping into my mind, Special Education or Photography?!? If I want to be a stay at home mom, photography works out great because I can always do that on the side or even get good enough to open my own studio (just dreaming right now Ü), BUT I absolutely love special education and I don't think there's anything more rewarding than working with such amazing kids.
Oh what to do, what to do. Lets pray that I have this all figured out and where I am going to go to school by the time the next semester starts!!!!!

Draper Temple Open House

If anyone has the chance to go to the Draper Temple Open House, I would totally go! I got to go yesterday with Doug, Heather and the Kids and it was amazing! It is such a beautiful Temple, and I'm so glad I was able to go!!!! Thanks for letting me tag along Doug and Heather!

First Innertube Water Polo Game

I played in my first Innertube Water Polo game last night and we won!! I had 2 goals last night, but should have had a lot more. The Ward competitiveness was starting to come out as I missed my first 2 shots, but then the game got a little better. GO SEA CREATURES! :)

Boxing

Two guys in my ward made a few girls dinner yesterday night. After dinner we pulled out their boxing gloves and started going to town. I was laughing hysterically. The guys started to show us how to box properly, but then it was back to just throwing random punches. Thanks for dinner and the boxing lessons boys!

Fun in the sun

My roommates and some friends went to Huntington Beach and Vegas for the long holiday weekend. I couldn't believe how warm it was in Huntington. I left 20 degree weather and went to 80 degree weather. I couldn't have asked for better weather than that!!
We left on Friday after work and drove through the night. We got to California around 3:30 in the morning and had to wake up to be at Disneyland around 9. Thank you so much Stephanie for getting us in FREE!! I couldn't believe how empty Disneyland was. I was expecting a huge crowd since it was Saturday and a holiday weekend, but our longest wait was 45 minutes. How awesome is that?!

Sunday night we drove to Vegas and stayed at Holly's parents house. Holly's parents were so nice and very sweet to let us stay there! And I do have to say, her mom made the BEST cookies and I could not stop eating them :) So much for loosing weight :)

Vegas was very laid back, yet lot of fun! We walked around the Bellagio Gardens, watched the water show, had lunch, then got back in the car to drive back to Provo. The trip ended up being pretty fun and it was nice to get out of the cold weather! Can't wait for my next trip!

Innertube Water Polo

There are a few guys in my ward that started a team for the BYU Intramurals of Innertube Water Polo. They asked me if I wanted to be on the team, and of course I couldn't pass up something like this :) Tonight is our first game and I'm sure its going to be pretty funny!! I'll keep ya updated on how we do :)

Mt Dell

I went cross country skiing this weekend and LOVED it!! I had so much fun and I'm so glad that Tanya and Sara introduced me to the sport!! I will probably end up going a lot more with them now!! The next adventure is snowshoeing. I'm really excited about that also. I'm going to do that in about two weeks and cant wait!

Cross Country Skiing

I have a few friends from work that are really into cross country skiing. They offered to take me soon, and I cant wait!! I've never been before, and now I cant wait to go!

Snow Day

Since we got so much snow today, a few of us decided to take advantage of it. We went to Rock Canyon Park, which has great hills, and went sledding and the boys did some snowboarding and skiing down the hills also. It was a ton of fun! After sledding a few times, we got into a huge snowball fight. I think Kimber got the worst of it in the fight :)

Will it ever stop?!

We have gotten so much snow up here this past week! The snow was supposed to stop this morning and so far it hasn't. Our roads just got plowed for the first time around 5:30 pm. I tried to go to work this morning, but it didn't happen! I got less than a mile away from the house when I started sliding everywhere and I also got stuck. It took two very nice guys more than 5 minutes to push me out of the snow. If it weren't for them, who knows what I would have done.
Provo just ran out of salt to put on the roads, so they are going to stop plowing. Its going to be interesting to see what the roads look like tomorrow!

Hard Day, Great Night

Yesterday was just one of those days. There was NOTHING to do at work so I just sat there and thought a lot about the past year. Many memories came flooding back, both good and bad, and I kind of got emotional. Because I was already kind of having a hard day, the emotions were probably a littler worse than normal :) I didn't think at that point, that much could make me happy. Then I got a call from Elizabeth that put a smile on my face. She said "I need my Aunt Lindsay" Of course, I could not help but rush to see her when I got off of work. I cannot tell you how much the three kids in the picture above made my night! It was so much fun to be with the kids and their parents. I cant thank them enough for all they do!! You guys are the best!
