Swim Lessons

Today was the last day of swim lessons with these cute kids and I'm going to miss it a lot!! I really enjoyed teaching them! It was fun watching the difference in them each time they got into the pool. Day one, they (except Elizabeth, who is a fish) didn't want to go under water and today they were all going under water with no problems!! Thanks Lucy, Jack, Brigham and Elizabeth for making swim so much fun!

Happy Birthday Justin

Happy 21st birthday to my AMAZING little brother!! I cannot even begin to explain how much I love him. He is the most loving and sweet guy I have ever met in my life!! I would love to have at least half of his heart!! He would do anything for his family and friends. He is for sure the quietest one in the family, but he is also the most loving and thoughtful one in the family! He will randomly e-mail me or call me to tell me how much he loves me and misses me. I really cannot put into words how amazing I think Justin is!
Hope you had a great birthday Juster Buster!! I LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To Do Or Not To Do

I can't believe I'm blogging about this right now...especially since my link to this website is on Facebook for everyone and their mother to see. I might be taking it off right now... :)

So...I don't date. Not because I don't want to, but because I don't get asked. I am every guys "best friend." As much as I love being their best friend, them being able to talk to me, and being "one of the guys" I just sometimes wish I'd be more than their best friend. I have more guy friends than girl friends and seem to hang out more with the guys. I pretty much have always been like that. I've watched every single one of my friends from when I moved up to Utah get married and most of them are now having kids. Everyone my age from church growing up is now married or engaged, except me. HELLO, I think its time for me to get this ball rolling! :)

I've been told SEVERAL times, especially in the last week, to sign onto a LDS dating website and see if anything happens from there. I'm not against dating websites at all, and I know MANY people who have met their spouses on websites, I've just never thought they were for me. I emailed my friend Missy, who I know would be honest with me and tell me her honest opinions about it a few days ago, since my co-worker had just talked to me about it and it was on my mind, kind of hoping she'd say don't do it. I got an email back from her basically saying try it out. I then called my mom that night and asked her about it since she ALWAYS seems to be right about everything and has very good in site on questions that I have for her. I was hoping and praying her answer would be "don't do it," but her answer was "it's worth a try." Crap, now what other excuses can I come up with?

Tonight I was having a conversation with a friend and dating came up. I told him I didn't date, so he said something about getting on a dating website. I just counted, and he is, this week, the 5th person to say something to me about online dating. Everyone keeps telling me to sign on, but I don't know whats holding me back. I have excuse after excuse and I'm starting to run out :) To do or not to do is the question!!!

Camp Pendleton Mud Run

This past weekend was the Camp Pendleton Mud Run that I've been talking about lately. I had TON of fun and cant wait to do it again next year! BUT, I was not saying that at all during the race. Around mile 3 I got the worse side ache I've ever had in my life. I couldn't believe that I was getting it the day of the race because I've never gotten them before. Of course I got the side ache right before the worst and steepest part of the race. At that point I was wondering what I had gotten myself into. I was telling myself I would NEVER do another 10k again, especially the Mud Run. After walking and stretching I finally got rid of it and enjoyed the race so much more after that!! The obstacles were for sure the best part of the whole race. I had to run through sand, water, climb walls, go through mud pits, swim through a lake, crawl through tunnels, get on my hands and knees for a steep slippery hill, and then crawl through the last mud pit. I can't wait to do it again next year, but next year I will do a lot more hill training! They weren't kidding when they said steep hill!!! :)
Everyone who did the Mud RunMy cheering squad :) Thanks girls!!
